Go to the top menu and ‘Schools’ to find those that cater for pregnant and parenting young people in your state. Under ‘Services and supports’ you will find programs like playgroups, parenting, helplines and other support. ‘Pregnancy advice’ can help you make decisions. It can be hard to find what you need, not all areas have services and some disappear after a few years which is why we advocate for governments to do much better. We include below some websites where you can get really good advice. Good luck!
Children by Choice info and a really useful plain speak website for young people with what you need to know about unplanned pregnancy.
Family Planning Victoria for fact sheets on contraception, sex and safety and puberty
Health Direct Aust for advice on choices, relationships, responsibilities & future plans and free helpline 1800 882 436
SA Health Pregnancy Advisory Centre for pro-choice, non-judgemental advice
Pregnancy Birth & Beyond stories from teenagers
Women & Children’s Health Network movies made by young mums
