We build connections between agencies providing services and support to pregnant and parenting young people aged 12 to 24 and their children, as well as government departments, researchers and the business community.
We communicate with governments at all levels on the shortcomings and gaps in current policies and programs and advocate for a consistent national framework and service standards.
We promote evidence-based sexual health and relationships education in all schools.
We assist pregnant and parenting young people to find accurate, reliable information on their choices, available services and the issues critical to the well-being of them and their children.
We act as a clearing house for research, data and news on young pregnant and parenting issues and foster effective communication to share experience, practice, knowledge and ideas.
We challenge negative stereotypes and promote awareness of the capacities and successes of parenting young people as well as their needs.
